Personally, I prefer to use the 1st fret on the A string for the A# throughout the song but I tried my best to tab this based on Simon's finger position on a live performance from 1980 so I used the 6th fret of the E string instead; except for the change toward the end of the song because Simon used the A string for that change. Riffs 3 and 4 start off the same as Riff 2 but pay close attention to the slight variations each time. That's why I thought it made sense to treat each change as it's own riff.
